Tell us about your campaign.

I am the current County Commissioner for District 10 in Rutherford, which encompasses the western areas of Smyrna and La Vergne. I have served as Vice-Chairman of the Health and Education Committee, and as a member of the Steering, Legislative, and Governmental Committee and Property Management Committee. I attended Middle Tennessee State University and have been a resident of Rutherford County for over 30 years. My wife of 27 years, Natalie, a recent graduate of Leadership Rutherford, and I are active together with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Smyrna, and we attend Hope Fellowship Church in Smyrna.

Describe your qualifications for this office.

I have a passion for public service and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the community. I am an advocate for keeping government spending and property taxes as low as possible. My voting record and four years of RCTV meetings on YouTube serve as proof of my conservative principles. I have played a pivotal role in shepherding the school system’s building plans, ensuring the county can finance capital projects without a tax increase. I use the same budgetary approach before voting to approve any request. County government must be efficient and as lean as possible to keep more money in people’s pockets.
