Tell us about your campaign.

I have been married to my wife Laura, a preschool teacher at Providence Christian Academy, for almost 30 years and we have two adult children. Meghan is a Rutherford County school teacher and Ryan works in supply chain management in Macon, GA. I am the CFO of Altius Solutions, Inc and I am also a Certified Public Accountant. I received my bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. We are members and volunteers at Experience Community Church.

In your own words, describe the responsibilities of the office you are seeking.

What are your priorities for this office?

The main goals I would like to achieve during my term would be continuing to pass balanced budgets, ensuring that the Middle Point Landfill does not expand and closes as soon as possible, and exploring better solid waste solutions that will reduce our reliance on landfills.

Describe your qualifications for this office.

I am running for office because I want to give back to my community and bring practical, real-world, financial and operational expertise to local government. Over my 35-year career, I have managed budgets, evaluated capital projects, and reduced waste—experience I believe will strengthen the commission’s decision-making.
