Describe your qualifications for this office.
I have been interested in and observing local governance since I was in high school. After some years of public engagement in community service and Youth Ministry, I was encouraged to run for County Commission by Mayor Ernest Burgess and former Finance Director Lisa Nolen. The timing was right and I jumped into my first political campaign in 2014. The timing was right because my years in local business and community service prepared me to be a reasonable voice in continuing the financial stability and quality of life handed down to us by our previous leaders. My community service, particularly my time as President of Greenhouse Ministries Board of Directors, prepared me to always consider the dignity and wellbeing of all Rutherford County citizens when making financial decisions.
