Tell us about your campaign.

My name is Terry Hodge, and I have been a lifelong resident of Rutherford County since the age of three. My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 44 years. We have two grown children, Ashley and Drew, and five grandchildren who are all proud residents of Rutherford County. Linda and I worship at World Outreach Church. I attended Reeves Rogers Elementary, Bradley Middle School, and Oakland High School before earning my business degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I spent 29 years in the manufacturing of automotive wheel weights and, in 2004, sold my business, Hodge Manufacturing Company. After that, I started Hodge Construction Services, where I continue to provide general home repairs and light remodeling. In addition to my business experience, I had the honor of serving 16 years on the Rutherford County School Board, where I worked to support students, families, and responsible budgeting for our schools.

What are your priorities for this office?

If elected, I will ensure every tax dollar is managed responsibly and transparently. My priority is protecting Rutherford County’s financial strength while planning wisely for future growth, so the next generation inherits a community that remains strong, sustainable, and full of opportunity.

I am running for Rutherford County Commission, District 17, because I care deeply about this community and the people who call it home. With years of business experience and 16 years of service on the school board, I bring proven leadership, sound judgment, and a commitment to serving our county well.
