“For too long, Washington has looked the other way while everyday Tennesseans get squeezed out of their own neighborhoods,” said Jones. “I served my country to protect our freedom and our communities. Right now, our community is under threat from out-of-state corporate interests buying up our land and straining our resources. I’m running for Congress to put the people of the 4th District first.”

What are your priorities for this office?
A central pillar of the Jones platform is addressing the housing crisis. Institutional investors and Wall Street hedge funds have been buying up single-family homes across the region, outbidding local families and driving up rent and property costs. Jones is committed to fighting for federal legislation that prevents massive corporate conglomerates from monopolizing the local housing market, ensuring that young families, workers, and retirees can afford to own a piece of the American Dream in Tennessee. In addition to housing security, Jones is raising the alarm on the rapid, unregulated expansion of artificial intelligence data centers in the region. While welcoming technological innovation, Jones emphasizes that the massive energy and water demands of these facilities must not come at the expense of local utility infrastructure or lead to higher utility bills for residents.
Describe your qualifications for this office.
As a veteran, Jones spent his military career defending American values and security. Now, he is stepping up to tackle a new set of challenges threatening the stability of Middle Tennessee: the skyrocketing cost of housing driven by corporate greed and the strain placed on local infrastructure by unregulated technological expansion.
