Tell us about your campaign.

Victoria Broderick is a mother of two young boys, a proud pet parent to three rescue fur babies, a foster volunteer with her local humane society, and a member of the LGBTQAI+ community. Her political journey began in 2021 after a failed IUD led to a series of life-changing experiences: an unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and then another surprise pregnancy. While on maternity leave, the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade, motivating her to become politically active. She launched her TikTok platform, The Friendly Neighborhood Liberal, to educate voters on the issues affecting their communities and soon became the county chair for Lincoln County, Tennessee. In 2024, after learning that her congressional opponent was set to run unopposed, Victoria decided to step forward and give voters a choice. With just five months to build a campaign while working full-time, she raised more than $120,000 entirely through grassroots, small-dollar donations—accepting no corporate PAC or AIPAC funding. As a first-time candidate with little name recognition, she expanded Democratic support across the district and earned 28% of the vote. As a first-time, no-name candidate. When she lost, she didn’t quit; she got to work building on her 2024 race. Victoria has been campaigning continuously since May 2024. In 2026, she is running on a platform centered on Safety, Affordability, Freedom, and Equity, with a commitment to building a Tennessee where every family has the opportunity to thrive.

In your own words, describe the responsibilities of the office you are seeking.

My job is to bring and vote on legislation that benefits all Tennesseans and to make sure your tax dollars work for you, not corporations or billionaires. To regularly work in the district with town halls and office hours, and to provide constituents with opportunities to meet with me on issues affecting them.

What are your priorities for this office?

Medicare for All. Protect Social Security and public education. Expand paid leave for working people. End the Iran War. Cut funding to Israel. Ban Money in Politics & stock trading for members of Congress. Create guardrails for AI and Data Centers. Enact term limits.

Describe your qualifications for this office.

I have worked for the last 5 years in Tech Support, and prior to that, worked in international and domestic logistics. Both jobs give me a perspective on the needs of working people and blind spots our government has to the negative effects of tariffs and AI. I have experience in local politics and state party politics. As well as a mother of young children, I understand what families are experiencing.
