I’m running for Congress because I’ve seen firsthand how Big Money in politics and failed leadership are pushing families out of their neighborhoods and out of the middle class. Tennesseans deserve better—someone who will stand up to powerful special interests, bring down the cost of living, and fight like hell for the communities that keep this country running. I’m tired of politicians from both parties who are more focused on chasing headlines than solving real problems. In Congress, I’ll put our neighbors first and fight for our hometowns, not headlines.

Describe your qualifications for this office.
Mike knows what it means to fight your way out and build your way up. He and his wife both grew up around abuse, addiction, and crime. They’ve lived through the pain of other people’s bad decisions and the hard-won resilience that comes from surviving them. When Mike moved to Nashville in 2001, he had no car, no computer, and no connections. What he did have was grit and determination. He built a career from the ground up in the entertainment industry, eventually working on Grammy-nominated albums and sold-out world tours.
